Refund & Return Policy

Non-Refundable Services

ALL sales are final and non-refundable. Period.

Both our ATS-Verified Resume Optimization ($39/month subscription) and Infographic Resume Design services ($129 one-time) are non-refundable digital services. Once you've been charged, we cannot issue refunds under any circumstances.

This includes:

  • Subscriptions that auto-renew after you forgot to cancel
  • Services you changed your mind about after purchase
  • Duplicate charges (we'll help you cancel the duplicate subscription, but won't refund)
  • Any reason whatsoever after payment has been processed

Why No Refunds?

Our services involve custom, labor-intensive digital work:

  • Infographic Resumes: Each design is hand-crafted, custom work. Once delivered, the work cannot be reclaimed or resold.
  • ATS Optimization: Custom keyword research, OCR verification, and embedded transcript technology are labor-intensive services delivered digitally.
  • No Inventory: Unlike physical goods, digital services can't be returned or restocked.
  • Chargeback Risk: Refunding after delivery exposes us to chargeback fraud (where customers dispute the charge anyway, costing us $15+ per chargeback fee on top of the refund).

To protect our business and keep prices low for all customers, we maintain a strict no-refund policy.

Subscription Cancellation Options

For our monthly subscription service ($39/month), you have ONE option to avoid additional charges:

Cancel BEFORE Your Renewal Date

To cancel your subscription before your next billing date:

  1. Log into your WasDoc account
  2. Go to Account Settings → Billing
  3. Click "Cancel Subscription"
  4. Your subscription will automatically cancel at the end of your current billing cycle
  5. You will not be charged again

Important: Cancellation is only effective if processed BEFORE your renewal date. You can check your next billing date in your account settings.

Already Been Charged? No Refund

✗ No refund will be issued

If your subscription renewed and you received a charge you didn't want:

  • No refund: We cannot refund charges that have already been processed
  • We'll cancel going forward: We'll immediately cancel your subscription so you won't be charged again
  • Why?: Allowing refunds after charges encourages chargeback fraud and increases processing fees we'd have to pass to customers

Billing Disputes & Chargebacks

DO NOT request a chargeback from your bank or credit card company.Here's why:

  • It costs us $15+ per chargeback: We get charged a dispute fee by our payment processor, on top of the original amount
  • It creates friction: Chargebacks block legitimate conversations about the service
  • It may not help you: Even with a chargeback, WasDoc can respond with proof of service delivery, and you may lose the dispute
  • We reserve the right to block future orders: Customers who file chargebacks may be blacklisted from future services

Issues with Your Service Delivery

Even though we don't refund, we do stand behind our work:

One Revision Round Included

Your package includes one round of revisions for:

  • Corrections and factual inaccuracies
  • Formatting adjustments and refinements
  • Reasonable changes to wording or layout

To request revisions: Email [email protected] within 7 days of delivery with specific feedback.

Service Failures

In rare cases where WasDoc is at fault for service failure (e.g., files not delivered, technical errors, etc.), we will:

  • Correct the problem at no additional cost
  • Provide a replacement service
  • Offer a subscription credit for future months (if applicable)

We will NOT offer cash refunds, even in service failure cases. We will only offer service credits or replacement services.

How to Cancel Your Subscription

Step-by-step instructions:

  1. Log into your WasDoc account at wasdoc.com/dashboard
  2. Click on your profile or account settings (usually top-right corner)
  3. Navigate to Billing or Payment Settings
  4. Find your active subscription
  5. Click "Cancel Subscription" or similar button
  6. Confirm the cancellation in the popup
  7. You'll receive a confirmation email

⏰ Important Timing: Your cancellation only prevents the NEXT charge. It must be processed before your renewal date.
